Easter Breakfast!

After our big egg hunt, George and Shirley came over for breakfast, which Daddy cooked on the BBQ...mmm...They brought the girls some Easter goodies, they are so good to us!!

I made some chocolate covered strawberries, which as you can see, were all over Maddie's face!

The weather was bright, sunny and warm, so we spent the rest of the day outside. Miaya had her first golf cart ride!!

The rest of our Easter was spent together, the 4 of us, enjoying a beautiful quiet day outside...together, did I say that already?! A great way to end a busy but very fun weekend!

The bunny brought Maddie a new Barbie convertible...and she LOVED it!!! We loved hunting for eggs and goodies!

Easter with Family

So, our table is all ready for 16 to eat!!!

Kelly, Donnie, Zavhier and Kyanne were the first to arrive and since Mother Nature heard all of our prayers for sunshine, we headed out for a walk...well, some of us walked and some travelled on the golf cart!

The kids enjoyed some time at the water...

And since the kids waited so patiently for everyone else to arrive we gave them some Easter goodies to enjoy!

We all enjoyed some munchies on the deck...

And then we hid over 80 eggs for the kids to hunt...

They were off like rockets...

I love having family together! It was so nice to see everyone together talking and relaxing!

Dinner was fabulous...the menu had everything you can think of on it and everyone helped make it happen which was great!

Zavhier was so cute..."You know Uncle Mark, the gold cart is still out, does that mean we can go for another ride??" He loves hanging with his Uncle Mark...who wouldn't, he has got all the toys and is like a big kid himself...And since it got a little cooler, the kids needed hats...Zavhier wasn't convinced this one was a "boys" hat but we all told him it WAS and he didn't seem to mind...

The day went by too quickly and we all had a wonderful day! Stuffed and sleepy, everyone had to head home to await the arrival of the Bunny...Thanks to all who came and helped, we had a blast and can't wait to do it again!!

Check-up!!

At my 9 month check up today, we found out I am 28 1/4 inches and 18lbs 8 1/2 ounces. BIG girl I am becoming...

9 months old

and I can do lots of things on my own.

Our baby is no longer so little. She is so much fun and so easy going. We are so very lucky!

Another one...

So, here is our conversation this morning in the car..."Just a second Mom, I have a wiggly tooth" (3 seconds later...) "MOM, DAD, MY TOOTH FELL OUT!!!!" We didn't even know that one was loose...Let's see if the Tooth Fairy comes...
