Trees...

...are truly one of Mother Natures most beautiful gifts and one of the most destructive. We love our trees on our property however some of them are too close to our house and just a danger with all of the storms we have been getting.

We decided that this one had to come down, it is right beside Miaya's bedroom and if blown the right way would land right on our house. Thank GOD Mark is so handy...

He was able to borrow one of the truck's from work (his boss is great!!) and de-limb it and he brought it down today...Isn't it huge???

He works so very hard for us!! We love him for that (and many other reasons...)

Applesauce anyone??!!!

Miaya helper herself to some Applesauce today...huh...little messy...she won't eat it from a spoon but she will suck it out of the container!! Go figure!!!

Tequila Margarita's...make the doors fall off...

My sister-in-law is sooooo funny...she says to me "Do you think if I open this bottle, it would be OK opened in the back of the truck?" (She meant if she got stopped with an open bottle of alcohol...) Well, no worries about that Sandra, it seems to have been consumed...Huh, how do these things happen??!!!

The 3 of us had a great time, chit chatting on the back deck and a fire on the front...

But then, the door fell off...LITERALLY, right off...huh...how DID that happen??!!! (Sandra, I will allow you to answer that question...lol!!!)

A very tragic day on our lake...

At about 2:30pm today a very unfortunate accident happened...a water airplane went down during a storm that came through. After many attempts by some very brave good Samaritans, they had to call the search and rescue helicopter, which landed right behind our house.

Their were rescue vehicles here for hours...a very sad day today...things happen too fast, hug your family and be thankful...xo

I am sooooo big now!!

Not only can I stand all by myself now...I TOOK MY FIRST STEP TODAY!!!!!

Deck Staining

Time to stain the deck...we cleaned it all and was praying for some sunshine...

Nana came out (THANK YOU!!!!) and played with the girls, while we tackled the BIG job...

We still have to do the railings however the floor is done and we are quite happy with it!! And we work very well together doing projects, it's nice because it gives us time to chat and it passes the time faster!!
