Working!

With Daddy home for a limited time, we had to get some work done.  We had to get our shed moved to make room for other things.

It was a group effort!!  Miaya was the supervisor and did a great job!!

True colours...

She's cute, sweet and adorable...even when she does this...Maddie calls them "Miaya Fits" and she throws them often, for many reasons.  This one was "just because".  Call me what you will for running to get my camera while she was doing it but I thought it was funny.  And it lasted for at least 10 minutes.  Daddy saved her...sucker...

You can see how much she really misses her Daddy when he's away...she has been stuck to him for the past few days.  And I think it is adorable!!

The old look...

 We started having some renovations done in June, so here are some pictures of what the house used to look like...

 We also had a few windows replaced...One of the front ones was original, and very overdue for some updating!!  It was HUGE!!  So, my handy dandy hubby took it out and built the wall around our new "normal" sized window!!  Look at the hole in our house...it was huge!!!!!

So, now you can check out our new look!!!

8 Years...

now and I love my husband more and more everyday.  Happy anniversary my love.!!  Even though we are not together on our special day, I am thinking of you and wishing you were here. xoxo

12 Long Stemmed Red Roses

 were delivered to my door today.  I felt like a princess!!

And I was pleasantly surprised! Aren't they gorgeous?!  And because I don't have a vase big enough for all of them...I now have 2 beautiful bouquets to look at!  Thank you my love, I love them...and you:)

Ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes...

This tiny little face is the face of our sweet new nephew...Declan Chael Chambers, was born on Monday August 29th, 2011 at 1:06pm in Calgary, AB. He weighed 6 lbs 15 oz and was 20 1/4" long!!!

Declan, Mommy Kim and Daddy Jason are all doing wonderful...

Look at this handsome little face?! It's hard for a new Auntie to steal snuggles and cuddles when there is this much distance between us, I have to admit, it stinks!! (I will continue to hound the new parents for pictures...everyday!!!)

So until we meet in person Declan, keep your parents busy and on their toes and don't grow too much! Your Auntie Julie, Uncle Mark and cousins Madalynn, Miaya and Jersey are so very thrilled to have you as part of our family!! We love you so very much!! xo

Kim and Jay, what a fabulous job you have done!! He is perfect and we are so happy for you and your growing family...We wish you all the best as you begin your new adventure as parents!
