A snow day was declared today...so what better way to spend it but outside!!!! It snowed a lot, all day! We started by sledding.
Then we made our way down to the lake where we shovelled our rink (and the girls!! They both thought it was funny!)
It was a great way to spend this very snowy day!!
Oh the battles ahead we will have, I can see them now...Miaya has her mind set that whatever her big sister Maddie is doing, she can do it too!!! So, they brush their teeth together everyday now!! It's pretty cute!
Maddie has a project/presentation this month on "Simple Machines". One that she has built, with parental help. Daddy helped with this over the holidays and they just had to finish a few things up today. 
After homework, we were able tot get down to our rink and have a skate! Papa stopped over and thought our rink was pretty neat! (I have a feeling you will be seeing lots of "rink" pictures over the next while...just giving you a heads up!)
We took turns taking pictures of each other getting pulled up the hill...
And some going down...such a good time!
We enjoyed a super quiet relaxing afternoon...we made some dinner on the BBQ, called our beautiful girls (and Nana!) and I kicked my hubby's butt in a good ole' game of Gin Rummy...he is a bit of a sore loser...hee hee!
