Mmm...brunch!

Auntie Kim was busy preparing a yummy Easter dinner with all the goodies, so Mark took our Brunch to the BBQ and the girls played with some of their new goodies!  We were trying to get them to wear off their sugar "highs"!!

Brunch was yummy...We tried to call Nana to wish her a Happy Easter but she wasn't home, so Miaya left a message...a looonnggg one...!!!  And then Maddie got to go with the boys for a ride in Uncle Jay's car...A busy, super fun morning!

HOPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!!

We hope the Bunny found you all...he found us even though we weren't at home!  Maddie helped Miaya up and then the Hunt was on!  

Miaya was good with all the goodies until we headed upstairs...she realized there was something in the foil and started eating as many as she could!!

This is Declan's 1st Easter!!  And we got to be there with him!!!  We are so lucky!

Daddy's breakfast of champions...Diet Coke and Hershey's eggs...mmmm...We had a lot of fun this morning!  And holidays are always better spent with family!!  Thanks Kim for letting us crash your 1st Easter all together!!!

Breathtaking Banff

The mountains are gorgeous...I would never tire from looking at them.  We were so excited for Maddie to see them...We started at the Gondola and up we went...

 Maddie went ahead of us with Auntie Kim, Uncle Jay and Declan...she loved it!!

We had lunch at the top after wandering around and taking tonnes of pictures!  It was much cooler here, I should have worn my warmer jacket...oops...the kids were warm!

The scenery was awesome.  We headed in to Banff where we did the tourist thing and walked the streets and checked out all of the cool shops.

We had a wonderful day wondering the streets, taking Maddie to the Hot Springs and just enjoying the sights.  Friends of ours were camping for the weekend in Banff too, so we headed to their camp where we warmed up, had a few beverages and a nice chat. We had a fabulous day, thanks to our Tour Guides.  It was such a peaceful day, so beautiful!!   

We had to make a stop on the way, and took some funny pictures in a giant chair...In a casino...yup, we had our 7 year old in a Casino...We had to use the little girls room!! 

 

Bowling and Dinner!

With very dear friends, whom I(we)  have missed for 5 years now!!!  Did I mention how awesome they are for driving over 2 hours just to see us for a few hours??!!! 

 

It was so great to be able to talk and catch up in person...Why do all the good ones have to move so far away?!  It was truly wonderful to see you guys and I miss our girls nights Cath!!! xo

An afternoon of work...

It may have been another early night last night for the boys, so they napped (with the little ones), Maddie did some cleaning (she is such a good helper!) and I helped Auntie Kim make some yummy food for Declan!  He LOVES his food!!!

Uncle Mark and Declan were surrounded by girls all week!!  Even when Uncle Jay comes home, they will still be out numbered!!
