So we started the Birthday girl's day out with Cinnamon rolls for breakfast and she had a few visitors before her party began! Maddie had a great morning!!
We purchased the new floor for all of our existing ugly (aka Parkay) floors last year and we have finally started deconstruction!
Right before Maddie's birthday party...we work best under pressure, always have!
Maddie is really enjoying all of her dances this year! Tonight we got to watch her in her Modern class! We are so proud of her and how far she has come.
Miaya does not take naps anymore and hasn't for a while but that's not to say she doesn't need naps...and sometimes on our way to anywhere, she falls asleep in the car...but she's not tired!
Miaya has really enjoyed her swimming lessons this term! Daddy was off today, so he joined us and took some pictures!
Miaya is still a little fearful but she has come a long way and has fun!
Nana took possession of her new house today!! And I had all the necessities for the girls and I because we were going to help her get it all ready! And the girls did so well, I brought their DVD players and they had a hoot...with no furniture, they could do whatever they wanted in the house!! Daddy came to pick the tired girls up after work and I stayed really late and worked hard...there is lots to do, so we will be spending our weekend at Nana's new Home Sweet Home!!
They came upstairs to decorate over 8 dozen cookies, eat supper and have cake! (Which was a tipsy turvy one this year!)
They all chose a movie, Annie, and then they crashed for the night. I made pancakes for their breakfast and most of them left by 11. One stuck around until almost supper time and Maddie had a GREAT weekend! A great way to celebrate turning 9!!
