Sleepovers and boats!

 Maddie had her friend sleepover one last time before summer ends...so sad, that summer is ending I mean.  This has been the absolute best summer ever!!  We stayed so busy and I felt like a kid again!!  I know it's supposed to be for the kids and all but I guess I'm not ready to grow up!!

The water was a little chilly, quite actually.  The lake didn't warm up as much this summer as usual but the girls did not care!!  They tubed for a few hours and then swam for more! 

School starts again this week for Maddie and for the first time for our little pumpkin!!  YIKES!!!  Good bye to a fantastic summer!!  Until we meet again!!

Congratulations!!!

 to a beautiful couple!!  We wish you many happy years together!  The wedding was gorgeous, all outdoor.  A great evening!  (And thanks to Nana for watching the girls!!)

The 4 some!

 I had my niece and nephew here again for part of the week.  I have to give all of us parents pats on the back because we are raising some pretty darn good kids!!  No tears, no arguing, no fighting, just lots of smiles and fun!!  I didn't take many pics, I guess I was too busy just watching them hangout.  (And cooking, man these 4 can eat a lot, like all day I feel like I am making food!! HA)  They hung out in their little fort in the front yard a lot!  They are just so much fin to have together!

Visits with old friends...

are the best!  My girlfriend and I have been friends since we were in diapers and we have stayed in touch all these years!  She has a family of her own as well and we don't see each other much but always stay in contact.  We were able to finally have them over for a visit today and it was wonderful!!  We have plans to see them again soon and we are really looking forward to it!!!

Mud Hero 2014!!!!

 I was looking so forward to today, ever since I booked it back in November!!!  My long time friend joined in this year as well as my sister in law!!  There was another group of girls there too, it was AWESOME!!  Cooler today than last year, like COLD and the mud was cold but who cares!!!

 

 
I didn't take as many shots as last time but you get the idea.  My camera was so mucky.  We had some good laughs, cheered each other on and worked together!

 

 
I am so proud of all of us!  We ran the 6 km, did the 18 obstacles and wanted to do more at the end!  Just a GREAT day!!


Time to buy a new pair of shoes!!  WOO HOO!!  Gotta love a brand new pair of running shoes!!!

 

Second half of vacation!!

 

 
 We stayed and played all day so come supper time we jumped in the truck, still in our bathing suits and drove to our next stop!

 Our new stop had waterslides, 2 pools and many things to keep us busy...and there was 2 shopping stops close by so we could do some of that too!!


 We had a fantastic week away!  And with less than 2 weeks to go before school starts, I don't want this summer to end!!  We've done so much this summer, had so much fun, I don't want it to end!!!

First stop...

 
 Our first stop on our vacation was Darien Lake!!!  We stayed for 4 days and Auntie Kelly, Uncle Donnie and the kids stayed for 2 days! These are just a few pictures that were taken of our fun!!

 

These 2 little monkeys rode this coaster, what felt like, a million times!!  And loved it!!

 

 
 So many things I could say but the word FUN sums it all up!  To watch our girls have this much fun makes my heart melt!!
