Our birthday girl

 is turning 4 today.  That's too old and too fast and I don't like it.  Her (favorite!) big sister, Daddy and I, decorated after she went to bed last night so when she woke up this morning she was very surprised!!!  Like any mom, I still remember meeting our little monkey 4 years ago.  It was a beautiful day.  (Our girls birthdays aren't just for them, they are also for me, to celebrate every moment and remember every detail about their "birth" day...I love memories.)

 

 Declan was excited to see all the decorations too!!  Miaya requested pancakes for breakfast so the little ones made them together. And on the table was more birthday presents for the birthday girl to open!!!  (And one for her sister and cousin too!!)

 

 
 The birthday girl wanted to swim and boat today!  What a GREAT idea, it was a HOT one.  We served some mini cupcakes (which I bought, such a cheater!!)  and headed out for an afternoon boat ride!!

 

 
 Kim and I jumped off to float around for a bit, so Uncle Jay did some fishing!  The kids helped drive the boat too!!

 

We headed home before dinner, after everyone cooled off.  I'd say Miaya had a wonderful day!!  We just can't believe she is growing up so fast. 

Family Day!

 We had planned a day of boating and water fun for all of us but the weather didn't cooperate too well so we ended up just hanging out...in the driveway on lawn chairs for most of the afternoon. 

 

 

 After supper we put the Sea Doo in the water and everyone took turns having fun!    The kids caught some crayfish too.  It doesn't much matter how we spend our days, it's just nice having my brother, sister and families all here together! 

 

 

And then the 4 wheelers came out for some evening rides, which were really meant for the kids but of course the big ones have to get involved too!  We ended the night with another fire and a few more beverages!!

Library cards

for our big girls and they LOVE getting new books.  They read them so fast that I have to take them back every other day! Nothing wrong with reading!! 

It's a party!!!

 

 Daddy cooked a BIG turkey and we had lots of other food to eat and lots of people to help us eat it!!  We are celebrating Miaya and Declan's upcoming birthdays!!  It was a beautiful sunny day for the outdoor festivities too!!

 

 Miaya had so much fun playing with her cousins and her friends!  She opened lots of goodies and when Declan was done opening his, he sat and helped Miaya!

 Each of the kids got their own cake, so we sang and blew out candles and they LOVED it!!  With almost 30 of us for the afternoon, it was a full house and it was great getting everyone together!  2 weeks into summer and it is already a great one!!!
