And we all needed some after our fabulous morning together inside...we went for some rides on the golf cart and on the 4-wheeler before we headed in to get ready for our big dinner!!
After our very busy day outside...we came in to make Santa his yummy Chocolate Chip cookies! It has become a tradition of ours that we make him cookies tonight before we head to bed! The girls got all bathed and into their matching jammies so we could curl up for a movie before bed!! Maddie was sooooo proud of herself, she arranged them all nice and wrote Santa a letter like always!
I am still wondering who is more excited about the big day tomorrow..me or the girls??!!!!

We finally got some snow so we could go and play! The girls love going for sled rides on the back of the 4-wheeler, so we did that all afternoon! (Miaya just loves the 4-wheeler, on the sled or sitting with us...Maddie prefers the sled...more of a ride for her!!) Daddy had his golf cart out and we all enjoyed a beautiful quiet day together... 
While Auntie Kim got all packed this morning to go home, I stole some extra snuggles from my sweet little buddy. Declan had a few visitors stop by to say good bye this morning and then I made them a yummy breakfast before we headed out for their long day of travel.
There are many things I will miss...Declan's sweet smiles and giggles, especially 1st thing in the morning. His stories, his innocent handsome little face. Just the fact that I can't go for a drive and see how much he has grown and hold him and tell him how much his Auntie Julie loves him. Maddie and Miaya are going to miss him too...Miaya had a friend to play with and Maddie loves being surrounded by family. Another thing...My sister...talking over the phone just isn't the same as talking in person. I really enjoyed our visit, being able to see each other as "Mama's", sharing stories, advice and sometimes just silence. We haven't been able to do that for almost 6 years...yes, we have had some mini-visits in between but this time I had her all to myself! No matter where we went during the day, come nighttime, we would put the kids to bed (while mine anyways) and talk and there still wasn't enough time to say all of the things we wanted too! 
I am so grateful for the 9 days they were here and hope we are able to do it again soon. Our babies grow up too fast and time slips away while we are too "busy" to sometimes notice...I know the next time I see my nephew he will be much bigger. 
So, until we see each other again, I will think of you both often, will wait for new pictures and take advantage of the technology we have to see, talk and hear you whenever we can! We all love you guys very much and want you to know that you are always welcome here, as often and for as long as you want!! xoxo
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!! Santa stopped here and boy were our girls excited!! (And Mommy and Daddy too!!)
Maddie woke up before Miaya so we let her open her stocking and 1 of her Santa surprises!! She was in LOVE!!!!
When we finished with our new goodies we decided to go outside to get some fresh air. Christmas is so much fun and very busy...We are hosting dinner later so we need some time outside so we can last the whole day. Miaya did so well at opening gifts, her sister was a little disappointed because she was looking forward to "helping" or doing it for her but no help was needed! 
Christmas day always comes and goes so fast...I LOVE this holiday, it is definitely my favourite one of all. Seeing the excitement in our girls eyes and knowing that they believe in magic is an awesome feeling...We hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas too!!!
