Another one bites the dust!!

This was my poor fish...Stella...she didn't make it...

Shhhh...It's almost Auntie Kelly's Birthday!!

 
 So the kids and I got to work!!  We baked 2 cakes and while they cooked we all made a gift for Mommy/Auntie Kelly!!

 And then it was time to ice the cakes!!  Zavhier and Kyanne got to do one to take home for their Momma and the girls did one to keep here!

 They all did a fantastic job!!  And I think they had fun doing it...and what kid doesn't like to taste test a little icing on the way?!  The kids took their creations home with them and I sure do hope Kelly likes all her goodies!!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY tomorrow!!!  Have a GREAT day!!! xo

Our Star!!

Maddie had a lot of fun at her Theatre Arts camp this week!!  This is her 3rd summer of attending and as always on the Friday we head to the local theatre to watch the kids perform all of the things they learned in the previous 5 days!  They do such an amazing job!!  I took lots of video but these are a few of the "still" pics!  AND...Maddie made the FRONT PAGE of the local newspaper!!!  We are so proud of her!!  Such confidence she shows. Incredible!!

Maddie is at Theatre Arts camp all week this week so Miaya and I are enjoying a little bit of quiet/down time together!  Summer is nearly half over and it has been a super hectic but very fun one!  Maddie's friend came home with her after camp for a sleepover and they enjoyed some time in the pool and Miaya just relaxed! 

 

PEEK A BOO!!!

Our trip to the Zoo was put on hold today due to Daddy getting a call after midnight to go to work.  So the girls and I hung out quietly today, it was nice:)  I rearranged and cleaned out my kitchen cupboards, which has made me feel better! And the girls had fun hiding in our very spacious cupboards. 

And we got a HUGE storm here yesterday afternoon which made a mess of our lawn, so Nana, Miaya and I headed out to pick up sticks and debris!  Maddie was watching a movie in her p.j's which was cool too.  It took us almost 2 hours and there is a huge pile ready to be burnt.  So, we had a quiet relaxing day and Daddy ended up staying in the city because he has more work tomorrow.

 This year, we invited our family over for cake to help celebrate Miaya's BIG special day!!  (The 4 of us are going to celebrate her day together as a family tomorrow at the big Toronto Zoo!!)

 Miaya did a great job blowing out her candles, I hope she made a wish!!  Everyone enjoyed the yummy Minnie Cake!

 

 
And then the birthday girl was able to open her presents!  So fun!!!  Thanks to all who came!  Miaya had lots of fun!!

Treats for my sweets!

 Maddie gave Miaya a new play dough Candy Shoppe Maker for her birthday so the kids played with it this morning while I decorated Minnie for Miaya's Birthday Party tonight!!

 

 And I decorated a cupcake each for the kids for fun!!  And then it was in the pool to cool off again! 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIAYA!!!!

 It's hard to believe our little Monkey is turning 3 today but she is!!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!  We all went in and sang to her!!  And she LOVED the decorations!!  The kids played balloons for quite a while and I baked some cupcakes and a cake for our birthday girl!  (The inside temperature was 28 degrees this morning, but it hasn't broke for days and I needed to bake!!  It was HOT!!!)

All the kids enjoyed an icing free cupcake before we headed out to the pool to get refreshed before lunch! 

 

 I made Grilled Cheese, as requested from the birthday girl, and then we gave her a cupcake and sang to her!  Miaya thought that was GREAT!!!  She even joined in the song!
 And just as I was going to put her down for a nap, Daddy came home from work, he got off early which was a nice treat!  He asked his birthday girl what she wanted to do and she said go fishing!!  So, we loaded up the boat, headed over in the tube for some swimming!  It was soooooo refreshing!!  The lake is awesome!

 And then the kids got to try fishing...it was so quiet for 30 mins...while they casted away, nothing was caught but they didn't seem to mind! 

 By the time we got home it was almost 8 pm!  YIKES!!!  The kids were tired and hungry...so on the menu was Waffles...I know, nice healthy dinner but the Birthday girl wanted them, so why not?!  She received another cupcake and got to open a few gifts!!

 
I think she had a wonderful day!!  Look at her face, she looks happy!!!  So, another year is gone, and she keeps reminding us that she is going to school next year with Maddie, I guess she is ready for the next step.  I wish they didn't wish to grow up so fast...Our girls have brought us so many smiles, so much love and the best memories over the past 8 and 1/2 years...we are truly blessed with their beautiful faces!  We love them so much!!  xoxoxo

2 more gone!

We lost another 2 fish this morning...Now we're down to 6...Maddie was a little upset.  Hopefully they others will last...we'll see!

 After we got Miaya to bed tonight, her last night of being 2...wow, that makes me a little sad to say that...where has the time gone?!  Anyways, we decorated for her birthday tomorrow!!  Zavhier and Maddie worked hard at putting up streamers!  They were pooped from another HOT week, which they have spent swimming and playing again!!  They get along so well, it's so awesome to see!!  Kyanne didn't stay this week, she got some extra time with her Mommy and Daddy but Zavhier had a blast!
