New Years Eve!

We (finally) got some snow!!  Daddy plowed a pile for the girls to play in and then we headed to the lake to check the ice out!  Still no the greatest but the weather hasn't been very cooperative lately, it'll get better!

Miaya is still not herself.  I took her home where I convinced her to have a nap, and I joined her.  When I woke up an hour later I found the cat all snuggled in with her!!  She slept for over 2 hours and when she woke up, she looked worse!  Said she wanted to go back to bed, totally unlike her.  She spiked a fever, took some medicine (and her antibiotic that she's been on since Monday) and watched some TV until bedtime.  She's had a rough holiday, I hope she feels better soon!

And then our friends came over, the kids played and the adults had some beverages.  I had water just in case Miaya wasn't ok.  Gramma Shirley and Grandpa George showed up just before midnight after making their rounds in the neighbourhood, which is great because we got talking about it and we have been together on New Years for the past many years!!  Happy New Year to you all!!  And all the best for 2015!!!!!

So lovable

She loves her animals...just missing Hope.  The cat thinks she is a snack so there will never be a picture with all 3 of them, just safer that way!

The Murray Christmas!

We picked the girls up at Nana's today and then headed to Gramma and Grandpa's for Christmas all together!  (We enjoyed a dinner out with friends last night so the girls got a visit and sleepover with Nana!)  Gramma had dinner ready early so that was great!  We all ate, the kids played and then it was time for presents!

The older kids handed them out and everyone seemed to like what they were given! Miaya and Kyanne got new drums!
Some of us went for a walk and then jammies were put on for some quiet time...the Dad's supervised while the ladies cleaned up.  Another wonderful Christmas!!

Boxing Day Supper!

Mark and I cooked dinner for 10 tonight!  It's nice to get together with family, especially at this time of year with everyone being so busy.  Dinner was great and there were plenty of desserts floating around too.

This is how Miaya likes to eat her pumpkin pie...Uncle Pat thought that was hilarious!  She didn't make a mess either.

There were some gifts to open which the kids (young and old) loved!

He came, He came, SANTA CAME!!!!!!

And Maddie is the BEST big sister EVER.  I was up and showered by 7 am and she came down shortly after but little missy was still asleep...so I asked her ever so nicely if she could wait to go into the kitchen to see her goodies until her little sister woke up.  So we sat and watched a little AFV...until 8:30 am!!!  We couldn't wake her up because she was up a lot last night coughing and we didn't (nor did she) get a lot of sleep.  But when we heard her we were up there pretty darn fast!! And then the fun began!!!

Caramel enjoyed his new toys a lot today!!!  He is such a friendly boy...still a kitten and quite playful.  The girls loved their goodies from Santa!

Daddy and I got Maddie a video camera which she was quite thrilled with.

And Miaya loved all of her new things!  Not too hard to please her yet!  Daddy loved his new goodies too.  We had an awesome day.  We did a quick clean up and Daddy put up my new radio in the kitchen and then Nana came over to visit.

We enjoyed an easy dinner of appetizers and watched The Polar Express!  I love Christmas and wished it didn't go by so fast.  Merry Christmas to you all!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!

We are all ready for Santa!!!  SO EXCITING!!!!!  We had plans to go to a friends house for some snacks and fun however both girls have been fighting a cold.  Miaya woke up today much worse so we decided to keep our germs to ourselves.  We played lots of board games and spent most of the day inside because it was a rainy day...RAIN on Christmas Eve...What the H$%^??!?!

We had some yummy snacks for dinner, baked cookies and wrote our Santa notes!!

And then we headed outside with our reindeer food!  It was wet and very mild.  Not the way we hoped it would be but it's Christmas Eve and SANTA'S COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Hope he brings Rudolph tonight because it's foggy!!  MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL...AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!!!!  (Hope you had a great birthday today Grandpa!!!)
