Snowboarding and another sleepover!

 All but one girl left this morning so we could get Maddie to her lesson.  And while Maddie did her thing, we found a huge hill and had fun!  And after her lesson, we stopped and grabbed another girlfriend to spend another night!  What a fun weekend they all had!!

PARTY TIME!!!

 It's a PA today from school and a great day for Maddie's party!!  She had 5 girlfriend's over and despite the very cold weather, we were able to spend the afternoon outside.  (And Maddie was excited that her Daddy got to come home from the storm they were called to...and so was I because it was great having an extra set of hands here to help keep these girls occupied!!)

 

 Maddie had no idea that we baked a cake, she thought we forgot about it!!  She was very surprised!!  The girls had a fun night!!

Yummy Cake!

 Miaya has been home with me the last few days with a cold and cough...again.  Poor thing seems to be catching all the germs this year.  We got Maddie off to school and got to baking a money cake for Maddie's birthday party tomorrow night!!  She's a great little helper!!

Cold but FUN!!!

We headed out for a few hours on the sled today!  It was brisk, wow!!!!  So nice to get fresh air!  I love listening to the girls laugh and yell at Daddy to GO FASTER!!

Take 3!

 Maddie's 3rd lesson today!  We missed last weekend but she did awesome!  And stayed for a few hours after and went riding!  Auntie Kelly, Uncle Donnie and the kids all went too and they say they had lots of fun!

Today was great.  Miaya and I watched most of her lesson before we found some snow to play and ride on.  I brought her sled so she could have fun too!  She's doing great and loving it!!!!

Friends...almost

Slowly our 4 legged friends are becoming friends.  They both snuggled on Jersey's pillow.  Often, Jersey will get up and lie on the floor, while the cat takes the pillow.  Caramel thinks he's in charge. We are encouraging Jersey to not take his crap but I guess they'll figure it all out at their own pace.

Together again!!

 Daddy went and picked up all of our pets, belongings and our beauties!!  I stayed home, unpacked, did laundry and all that stuff.  Neither of us are well still but we are home and have hot showers...ahhhh, such a luxury!! 
 Daddy calls Miaya tonight and tells her to get in the suitcase...what a guy!  I guess we really could hide her in our bag!!

We've loved hearing about their week at Gramma and Grandpas!  So nice to be all together again!!  I'm sure we'll be hearing stories for days to come!

Home day!

 Our last early morning walk on the beach.  Back to coats, hats and mitts tomorrow!  But for today, we will soak up the sun!!

 
 I got a little red today...we were enjoying a few more beverages before we headed to catch our plane. 

 Honestly, a great week we all had!!  That's all that I can say...memories to last a lifetime!!!

And we wouldn't have been able to go without your help Gramma and Grandpa!!  I know when we called you said the girls were great and I hope they were!  We can't wait to hear all the stories they have to share when we see them tomorrow!!  Your quiet house of 2 will soon be back to normal!  We both greatly appreciate your help and we hope you made memories to last a lifetime as well!!

Our last full day!

 
 It has been quite windy everyday since we've been here.  We weren't able to use the Kayaks or the Paddle boats at all, which is too bad.  We did go for a little Catamaran ride though. 

 George and Shirley went out as well and their tour guy fell in love with George's hat so George gave it to him!  We spent the rest of the day just lazing around on the beach.  I wasn't ready to give up the last 30 minutes of sun, so we sat by the pool where it is less windy and played cards while watching the sunset.

 
 We've had such a great week. A few bumps but the weather was great and company even better!  The entertainment tonight was a synchronized water show.  Awesome! 

 There really is nothing better than just relaxing.  We have all had a fantastic week full of just that!!  We've always joked about going away together but we made it happen and the memories we made will last forever.

Rainy day (HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNTIE KIM!!)

 Poor Mark is now feeling awful.  We had decided to take the Double Decker tour bus to the little shopping plaza today.  Mark did end up joining us but I know how he felt...Anyways, the rain held off on our trip there and we were able to sit on the top of the bus which was wide open.  The plaza was OK.  We went, saw and all wanted to go back to the resort.  It was raining and windy!  We headed to the ocean to see the waves, the sound is beautiful, I could never get sick of listening to it.  It is so relaxing.  We have been constantly making jokes about the lack of water etc. this whole week.  We were all damp and yucky after our adventure and all we wanted was a hot shower but at this point a shower would have been fine.  And the first thing I always do when I get to our room is try the water because you just never know...well, today, I screamed for joy!!!  WE HAD WATER...and HOT!!!  Pressure was awful but WE HAD WATER!!!!!!!  I wasn't able to get undressed fast enough!  It was so awesome!  The things we take for granted...

With not much going on tonight due to the rain, we had too many drinks in the Piano bar, where we ate sandwiches and played cards....and then I rode a bull...but that's another story!!

Another sunny day!!

 We headed to the ocean...the Jelly fish look-a-likes get washed up with the waves and the tide.  They are many all over the beach.  I'm still feeling gross and I'm not the only one.  After speaking with others, who had to visit the clinic because they didn't have any drugs, I'll spend the rest of the week being cautious.  I'll survive though! 

We have a few card games we've been enjoying playing after the sun goes down.  They have a piano bar where we enjoy sitting listening to the cello and guitar, it's beautiful.  And then we ventured to the other bar where there is a beautiful breeze...life is rough!  LOL!!!
